Inventory Control Specialist $18+DOE

Monday–Friday 7am-3:30pm with overtime as needed.

A full line mechanical supplier of packing house equipment in Sioux City, Iowa is looking for an inventory control specialist to join their growing team! As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll work both independently and, on a team, to count products, use hand scanners and a computer to keep track of the inventory. Responsibilities:

• Use hand scanner, tablet and computer to complete cycle counts.
• Audits the facility’s entire inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner.
• Provides inventory reports to Operations.
• Provide help and support to the Operations team and Warehouse team.
• Operate forklift to move materials when needed.
• Train cross functional staff in the proper inventory control techniques and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in inventory control

Requirements:

• Ability to work after given direction on own.
• Ability to have problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have own transportation.
• Must possess the ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language and contribute to the success of the team.
• Must have demonstrated ability to multi-task, operate hand scanners and be able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in inventory control.
