Janitor - $20-$23/hr.

Full time, Monday - Friday

A local manufacturer of livestock equipment in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Janitor. This position is always on the go, so the ideal candidate will be energetic and highly motivated. As well, you will assist with preventative maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain lunchroom, production floor, offices, restrooms, and public areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, dusting, waxing, painting and washing.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass.
• Empty waste/recycle bins and move to proper disposal locations. Empty cardboard bins using forklift and operate commercial compactor.
• Complete preventative maintenance items as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or related experience.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout shift.
• Be a detail-oriented, motivated, self-starting employee.
