Kitchen Staff | $13/hr 

Monday - Friday, 7:30am-1:30pm or 8am-2pm

Aventure Staffing is looking for detail oriented and friendly individuals to work for an established food management company located in Humboldt, IA! This position will work with all kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and promptly on a daily basis. The Kitchen Staff  will work Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm, and $13/hr. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals with prior kitchen and/or cook experience! 

Responsibilities:

• Set up serving lines and stock inventory for the day
• Assist in preparation of food and batch cook meals accordion to recipes for the day
• Adhere to quality standards and strive for excellence in food presentation
• Keep work area clean, neat and organized
• Follow all safety and sanitation rules and attend all required meetings
• Accurate money handling
• Complete necessary paperwork on a daily basis
• Other duties as assigned 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and management.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Must have good problem solving skills.
• Must be able to to work in a frequently wet and/or humid environment and extreme heat and the occasional exposure to extreme cold
