Position: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / RN)
Compensation: Starting at $30+/hour or more based on experience and certification
Schedule: 7a-7p
Location: Wayne, NE

Overview: The Aventure Healthcare Team is currently seeking an LPN or RN to join a community hospital and clinic in Northeast Nebraska. This facility is newly remodeled with a 24/7 ER department and clinic attached. All available shifts are 12 hours, starting at 7am. This position is due to last through at least the end of October.  If you prefer long-term care, we are also seeking an RN for a facility near Wayne County. Those hours are 6a-6p and it will likely last through at least November.   

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions
• Record observations and vital signs
• Administer medications and injections
• Draw blood samples as needed
• Assist patients with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and bathing
• Clean and bandage wounds as necessary
• Assist in moving and repositioning patients
• Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
• Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or RN license
• Current 2-step TB Test & Physical
• Mandatory Reporter Certificate preferred
• Valid BLS certification
