Laundry Service Attendant

$12/hr + $1.25 hourly Bonus \ Monday- Thursday 6am-4pm. No weekends!

A local, family owned Industrial Laundromat in Norfolk, NE is looking for a Laundry Service Attendant to join their team! They have been around since 1916 and offer a full array of professional services. As a Laundry Service Attendant, the jobs can vary from sorting, folding, flat work, rolling, and folding materials as assigned. Stability, growth, and diversity are all great reasons to pursue a career in the laundry industry.    

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cleaned textiles for machine-ironing and distribution 
• Use machinery in a safe, appropriate and responsible manner
• Catch and stack pieces into different count piles
• Ability to count to 100 while performing other tasks
• Visually inspect for quality, damaged, and potentially rewash loads. 
• Manually fold the textile if needed.
• Sort textiles by size
• Tie bundles produced on flat work iron. 

Requirements:

• Some production experience preferred
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Ability to count to 100 while performing other tasks
• Great attendance
• Push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs
