Location Manager

$70k to $100k a year salary DOE

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (hours will extend past 5pm during seasonal operations)

A local progressive Cooperative is hiring a Location Manager to join their team! This position works to support and lead the agronomy and grain departments of the facility. Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day to day operations of the facility to provide patrons with prompt, courteous and effective service
• Work closely with the agronomy sales personnel, applicators, and the general manager to ensure efficiency
• Manage facility assets including routine maintenance, facility and equipment replacement plans and driver equipment inspections
• Help maintain inventory levels to assure service with a minimum of delays
• Assist in establishing and implementing short-term goals and budgets that are consistent with long range plans for growth in operation, including facility, equipment, and personnel.
• Help fill in with agronomy knowledge when needed

Requirements:

• Ability to lead, coach, and develop current and future employees
• Good communication skills
• Base agronomy knowledge (crop production/application)
• 2+ years experience in the agriculture industry
• Great problem solving skills
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Proficient time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
