Lumberyard Truck Driver- $17/hr.

Full-time, hours vary based on delivery demand

A local lumber company in the Sioux Center, IA area is searching for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and professional driver to join their team. The Lumber Truck Driver is responsible for the delivery of lumber and lumberyard products in a timely manner while striving to meet the demands of the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Attend all scheduled safety meetings, follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
• Weigh each order or load as applicable, check production variances.
• Complete and turn in truck delivery record daily.
• Clean truck interior and exterior as needed and when time permits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 
• CDL license as applicable to truck.
• Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs. frequently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
