Maintenance Machine Technician – Pay Depending on Experience

Full-Time, Day-shift - Possible flex hours, OT, and weekends as needed.

Are you an experienced Maintenance Machine Technician? If so, this position is for you! A local manufacturing facility is looking for a skilled Maintenance Machine Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently and stays in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent attendance, and be willing to work 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment remains in optimal running condition through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to reduce operational costs and downtime.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as needed to address any equipment issues or facility needs.
• Maintain a safety-conscious environment across all facilities and collaborate with all departments to minimize production interruptions.
• Keep up with all required equipment documentation, including weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual records, and evaluate new equipment options.

Requirements:

•  2+ years of machine maintenance experience with strong technical troubleshooting skills. Own tools required.
•  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to negotiate and resolve issues calmly and effectively.
• Proficient in using Windows-based PC software for maintenance management and documentation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, with excellent attendance and a system for staying on top of tasks.
• Strong understanding of costs and their impact on the bottom line, with experience coordinating with manufacturers, technical support, and scheduling maintenance.
