Machinist | $16-$20/hr DOE

Monday - Friday, 1st shift, Overtime available

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC and manual machines, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders).
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure, examine, and test completed parts for conformance to specifications.
• Make adjustments to machines and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tools.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
