Machinist
$18 + $2/hr 2nd Shift Differential

2nd Shift – Mon–Thur 3:00pm–1:30am 

Are you a detail-oriented, results-driven manufacturing professional? If so, this position is for you! A local, well-established company in Orange City is looking for a Machinist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with CNC or similar machining equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process composite parts using CNC machines, water jet cutters, or autoclaves
• Machine carbon fiber parts according to specifications and work instructions
• Set up machines for a variety of different parts and production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Complete secondary operations as required
• Conduct first part checks and/or OSV inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written specifications
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and quick learner
• Ability to team lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs
• Ability to operate a forklift or be trained to operate one
