Maintenance Electrician
Pay Based on Experience
Monday – Friday, 5:30am – 3:30pm
Job Summary:
Our staffing team is currently partnering with a prominent local manufacturer to identify a skilled Maintenance Electrician for their growing team. This is a direct-hire opportunity. In this role, you will be involved in troubleshooting complex PLC issues to ensure our lines are safe and efficient, and ensure we deliver quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose electrical malfunctions in production hardware, including motors, conveyors, sensors, and VFDs.
- PLC Programming: Perform basic programming and advanced troubleshooting on Allen Bradley systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs to minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment.
- Sanitation Compliance: Ensure all electrical work meets SQF, BRC, or USDA food safety standards.
- Projects: Assist Maintenance Manager with facility maintenance projects.
- Completes work orders in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician in food industry required.
- Must have strong experience in PLC troubleshooting, ladder logic and coding, installing VFDs, control circuits, and schematic reading.
- Safety First: A "lock-out, tag-out" (LOTO) evangelist who never cuts corners on safety.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Journeyman license or Associates in Electromechanical Tech is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Outstanding organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication, active listening and interpersonal skills
