Maintenance Generalist

$25/hr.  $5,000 Sign-on bonus
2^nd Shift

Aventure Staffing is partnering with a world-class company in the Waterloo area to hire multiple maintenance personnel. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures. This is a direct hire position, not temporary.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems.  Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery.
• Preform scheduled preventative maintenance duties. Read and understand equipment manuals and instructions. Complete daily reports and paperwork.
• Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees.  
• Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors and occasional lift of 60 lbs.

Requirements: 

Minimum of 6 months’ experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.
