Maintenance Mechanic

$22-$37/Hr based on experience

Sun-Thurs 3^rd shift 8:30pm-4:30am or 10:30pm-6:30am

Are you a skilled Maintenance Mechanic? A local manufacturing company in Estherville, IA is in search of just the right person to install, maintain and repair all areas of the plant. If you are experienced in industrial maintenance, this could be your next career.

 Responsibilities:

• Regularly checking equipment and machinery for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
• Repair broken or malfunctioning parts, systems, or equipment. This can include replacing worn-out parts, reassembling components, or repairing electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Performing scheduled maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments, to extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Diagnosing issues and identifying the root causes of mechanical problems in equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any parts used.
• Ensuring that all maintenance work adheres to safety regulations and company protocols.
• Working with other technicians, engineers, or management teams to improve overall equipment performance and solve complex issues.

Requirements:

• Two years of experience and/or education of installation and repair of 110/220/440-3phase
• Two years of experience and/or education of machine controls to including PLC and CNC controls
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Excellent oral and written communication and trouble shooting systematic skills
