Maintenance Tech | $18-$25/hr, DOE
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 8:00pm
A leading manufacturer and wholesaler of shell eggs is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their growing team. The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance services for all areas of the plant.
Responsibilites:
- Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment prior to use
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures
- Repair & replace equipment as needed or as scheduled by your Supervisor
- Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance service on machines and equipment
- Respond to calls for assistance with unplanned machine breakdowns from department Supervisors
- Perform any and all other duties that might be assigned by your Supervisor
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge
- Maintenance Experience
- Electrical Knowledge of single and 3 phase power
- Basic computer skills
- Lift 50lbs and up to 100lbs occasionally
- Lift and move heavy equipment
- Education and/or experience in mechanical work is preferred and large ammonia refrigeration systems is preferreda plus.
- Work environment consists of freezers from -20F to hot rooms and dryers up to +145F
Pay & Benefits:
- $18-$24/hr. Depending on experience
- Paid every Friday
