Maintenance Technician
Pay- Depending on Experience (DOE)
1st Shift – Mon–Thurs 6:00am–4:00pm, Friday 6:00am–12:00pm
Are you a Maintenance Technician looking for an exciting new job opportunity? If so, this position is for you!! A well-established company in Sheldon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic maintenance skills, facility upkeep, and troubleshooting equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
• Material handling, including using the bandsaw to cut materials
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of machinery and equipment
• Assist the supervisor with vendor communication
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain
• Basic mechanical skills; general maintenance experience preferred
• Flexible and able to adapt to change within the business environment, needs, and scheduling
