Maintenance Technician

$30-$40/hour DOE

3rd shift Sunday - Thursday, 11pm to 7:30am

An established local manufacturer in the Sioux City area is searching for a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech to join their growing team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be accountable for the daily maintenance of equipment, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Inspect used parts with measuring tools (rules, calipers, micrometers, etc.) to determine dimensional changes.
• Collect and analyze data and prepare maintenance reports.
• Minimize downtime
• Preserves operational flow across work teams by meticulously documenting and disseminating information regarding actions taken, identified irregularities, and continuing requirements.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures, with regular exposure to cold, hot and/or humid conditions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment
• Collaborate effectively with employees, vendors and customers, using both spoken and written communication.
• Adhere to company policies.

Requirements:

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Benefits & Pay 

• Pay rate $30-$40/hour depending on skills and experience
