Maintenance and Reliability Technician

Monday-Friday, Day shift

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Technician with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes? We're seeking a proactive and systematic problem-solver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, from laser cutters to robotic welders, through expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, including expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, maintain, improve, and repair, manufacturing processes that meet company standards.
  • Provide technical support for production equipment and processes
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate corrective actions
  • Develop maintenance processes and documentation
  • Perform planned and unplanned equipment and facilities maintenance
  • Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Support of continuous improvement efforts related to manufacturing including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives
  • Deliver training for manufacturing operations and processes
  • Ergonomic considerations
  • Collaborate with all interested parties across multiple functions, including Safety, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.
  • Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance required
  • Lock-out / Tag-out knowledge is required
  • Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control experiences are required
  • Ability and willingness to work directly with people of varying disciplines
  • Manufacturing and Production experience required
  • Direct hands-on experience with industrial equipment and steel fabrication processes is required
    • laser cutting, robotic welder, manual welding, punch presses, CNC saws, etc.
  • Ability to be a Systematic Thinker
  • Comfortable and willing to create and modify a system to support the flow of activities and work
  • Ability to communicate difficult concepts to non-technical individuals
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to build solid relationships with a wide array of participants to provide excellent customer service to internal teams and other business partners through interpersonal, verbal and written communications.
  • Previous experience with CMMS applications
  • Solid analytical skills to visualize, articulate, understand, and tell stories using data
  • Desire to take initiative and think of solutions for problems that you may encounter
  • Solid judgement and critical thinking skills; not afraid of complex problems
  • Can easily manage multiple tasks in a well-organized and highly detailed manner while working in a fast-paced, perpetually evolving, relationship-driven environment
  • Computer skills with basic applications - MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

 EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education in a relatable field preferred
  • Certification within a technical field and/or organization desired
  • Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals a plus
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician a plus
  • International Maintenance Institute a plus
