Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech from manufacturing industry to conduct machine setup, troubleshooting equipment, repairs and preventive maintenance work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety
- Read & understand prints of machines and other items to identify & fix issues that arise
- Experience working with & understanding hydraulics & hydraulic schematics
- Ensure operation of machinery & mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read & understand prints of machines
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Have understanding of hydraulics & hydraulic schematics
- Able to work day shift or split shift while training
- Required written test on knowledge
- Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently or on a team
- Able to fabricate parts using a mill, lathe and/or welder
