Thermoplastics Technician
$18 + $2/hr 2nd Shift Differential
1st Shift – Mon–Thurs 6:00am–4:30pm, Friday 6:00am–12:00pm (OT as needed)
2nd Shift – Mon–Thurs 4:00pm–2:30am (OT as needed)
Are you a motivated, detail-oriented manufacturing professional? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! A well-established company in Orange City is seeking Thermoplastics Technicians to join their growing production team. In this role, you'll rotate through a variety of hands-on tasks to help produce high-quality thermoplastic parts while learning and growing in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
• Produce thermoplastic parts by rotating through areas such as material prep, weighing, molding, machining, finishing, painting, and assembly
• Assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds and related equipment
• Inspect in-process and finished products using hand measurement tools
• Perform deflash and assembly of thermoplastic products
• Operate computers and basic machinery for job tracking and part processing
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and production data
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lifting for heavier items)
• Physically able to stand/walk throughout the shift and bend, push, or pull as needed
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
