Press Brake Operator

Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm 

 $20–22/hr DOE

 Are you a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and experience in metal fabrication? A local manufacturing facility is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. This position involves operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components and offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components per blueprints or job orders
• Select proper tooling and machine settings for each job
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using measuring tools and gauges
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure the equipment is in safe operating condition
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
• Work with the production team to meet schedules and minimize downtime

 Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in press brake operation or metal fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with CNC press brake programming (preferred)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (preferred)-
• Welding or other metal fabrication skills (preferred)
