CNC Machinist 

Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Day Shift

Are you mechanically inclined with experience in machining and fabrication? A manufacturing facility in Sioux Center IA is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their day shift team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing new and replacement parts, maintaining machining equipment, and supporting production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate new and replacement parts for system products according to company policies and procedures.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machining equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine tools.
• Maintain and secure work tools and equipment.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Order tools and fabrication parts as needed.
• Provide back-up assistance to the Production Department.
• Educate and assist co-workers in operating machine shop equipment.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Advanced math skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Operational knowledge of machining equipment.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
