Material Handler l $18/hr. + DOE

M-Th 6:30a-4:30p

A local machinery company in Rock Valley, IA is looking for a Material Handler to join their growing team! This Material Handler will work independently and with others to support all departments in the handling of loading and unloading product and prepping for work area. This local machinery company is dedicated in assisting customers with their machining requirements!

Responsibilities: 

• Operation of counting and weighing scales, saws, and computers
• Performs all inspection and inventory audits assigned
• Supports material production needs by loading and unloading deliveries
• Identifies and records any problems relating to the product process
• Assists shipping/receiving/ and machining departments
• Perform all paperwork requirements of the job

Requirements:

• HS diploma/GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training
• Read and interpret documents
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand written and oral instruction in order to carry out job duties
• Stand for long periods of time
• Reach, stoop, kneel. crouch
• Occasionally lift or move 80lbs
