Material Handler | $17.67/hr. + Weekly Attendance Bonus!

Monday – Friday, 7am-5pm

An established machining and manufacturing company in the Sheldon, IA area is hiring a Material Handler to join their growing team. This Material Handler works on a team to ensure material is in the correct work station and checks products for accuracy. Enjoy working in an updated facility that’s climate-controlled!

Responsibilities:

• Follow order set-ups to ensure material is in the correct work stations
• Ensures that materials and parts that are moved within the facility are marked, packaged, and identified
• Assembles parts according to published assembly drawings and processing instructions. 
• Accurately and securely package parts for shipment as instructed per the pack list and shipping packaging guidelines
• Supports team members with emptying chip tubs and trash containers as needed throughout the workday.

 Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to inspect products and materials to meet the established quality and quantity specifications
• Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to stand in one position for long periods of time and frequent bending/twisting.
