Farm Equipment Mechanic / Ag Equipment Technician

Location: Mountain Lake, MN
Pay: Based on Experience 
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Farm Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. If you have experience working on tractors, combines, and other farm equipment, and you want a stable, supportive workplace with opportunities to grow your career, this is the position for you!

You’ll work in a modern shop environment alongside a team that values technical skill, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on farm equipment

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently

  • Order and track parts as needed

  • Maintain accurate service and repair records

  • Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and maintenance

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience repairing farm equipment, technical training, or service mechanic background

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete records and reports accurately

  • Must have your own tools (tool allowance available for qualified candidates)

  • Proven customer service skills and ability to work independently
