Medical Assistant
$16 - $18/hr based on experience
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Do you love interacting with patients providing care and compassion?  This opportunity to work for a busy medical office in Sioux City, IA may be for you!  As a Medical Assistant, you will be providing a wide variety of patient care, working alongside passionate nurses and providers.   You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experience, taking vital signs, instrument processing, maintaining, and entering confidential information, and assisting with collections of specimens.  If you would describe yourself as dedicated, organized, with excellent interpersonal skills we would love to hear from you!  Apply today and work for a long-term reputable medical office.  May consider a Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medication Aide with former Dr office/clinic experience.

Responsibilities:

• Taking vital signs and other patient care
• Giving vaccinations
• Updating and entering information into electronic medical records
• Instrument processing and cleaning
• Maintain patient confidence

 Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• May consider a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medication Aide with Dr office/clinic experience
• Basic Life Support Skills
• Knowledge of medical practice
• 1 - 2 years of medical office experience is preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

• $16 - $18/hour based on experience
