Entry-Level Microbiologist | $18.00/hr to Start
Full Time Hours | Mid-Day Shift with 2 Days Off a Week
A local company is seeking an entry-level Microbiologist to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological tests and experiments on samples to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Perform routine lab analysis, including identifying micro organisms and assessing contamination levels
- Record and interpret test results, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure proper calibration
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper disposal procedures for biological materials
- Assist with other laboratory duties as assigned, including preparing media and equipment for tests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the microbiology field
