Mill Assembly Technician

Day shift 6am – 2:30pm

$19-21 DOE 

Are you a detail-oriented, hands-on problem solver with strong communication skills? A local manufacturing facility is looking for a Mill Assembly Technician to join their team. This position involves learning complex product assembly with the potential to grow into a leadership role within the department. If you’re a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a team environment, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble a variety of subassemblies and final products according to schedule
• Work closely with co-workers, supervisors, engineers, and sales to ensure quality and workflow
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized materials in the assembly area
• Help create and document work instructions as needed
• Identify and solve issues to improve processes and output
• Support flow across multiple assembly departments
• Focus on delivering high-quality finished products that exceed customer expectations

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills—must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable with reliable attendance
• Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and work well independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using PCs and tablets for documentation and communication
• Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering around equipment
• Previous assembly experience preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate
