Mixer Technician | $19hr 

12:30pm – 9pm Monday through Friday.

A progressive and growing feed company located in Dunlap, IA is looking for an over night Mixer Technician/lead to join there team immediately. This individual is responsible for feed safety and quality by operating batch mixing equipment to mix feed
ingredients according to specified feed formulations. This individual will operate automated or manual equipment, pumps, pre-mix addition systems, and routing systems to manufacture feed per established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Batching Schedules and Production: Ensure that batching schedules are met and that production aligns with planned timelines.

• Manufacture Products: Follow formulations provided by the Corporate Office to produce all products accurately.

• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment, including keeping installation, repair records, and preventative maintenance schedules up-to-date.

• Ingredient Receiving: Receive and unload ingredients from barges, railcars, and/or trucks at the manufacturing facility.

• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-organized.

• Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, company safety rules, and policies and procedures.

• Leadership: Lead a small team and production area.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience, preferred
• Reading, writing, and mathematical skills at a high school level
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with a variety of individuals in an appropriate manner
• Ability to work in and promote a team environment
