Temporary Office Assistant $16.00/hr
Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm available.
Aventure Staffing is looking for someone who loves people and enjoys helping others! As the Church Office Assistant, you'll be one of the first friendly faces and voices people encounter. You'll help keep the church office running smoothly while making everyone who walks through the door feel welcome and cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, manage voicemail, direct calls appropriately
- Greet people
- Respond to general emails and distribute mail
- Assist with gathering info, editing, formatting, preparing, printing & mailing weekly bulletins, newsletter and other church materials
- Keep calendar updated
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ordering as needed
- Assist the Pastor, staff and coreministry team by handling correspondence, preparing documents, manage calendar, agenda, minutes and assemble annual report
- Place periodicals, devotionals, newsletters and other literature in racks
- Data Entry
- Create Powerpoints, Update the website and social media
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Friendly, warm attitude
- Good communications skills
- Strong organizational and clerical skills wityh attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi task
- Empathetic
- Experiene in an office, church or non profit setting is helpful but not required
- You must enjoy working with people!
