Paint Line Assembly $18/hr
First shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th OT on Friday
We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking person to join our team on the paint line and assembly area for a company in Milford. This is a hands-on job where you’ll help prepare, paint, and assemble products while making sure everything meets our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the powder painting operation.
- Spray powder coated paint following common industry practices.
- Load and unload parts onto the powder paint line when not in the paint booth.
- Measure parts for identification purposes and properly label them with identification tags.
- Operate and maintain paint booth system and observe gauges and equipment operations to detect abnormalities.
- Use inspection / measurement equipment to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Enter Work Order data required for labor reporting into the computer system.
- Work in a manner that emphasizes safety of self and others. Follows all safety policies and guidelines.
- Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of color lab paint samples.
- Troubleshoot issues that may occur within the paint process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques.
- Must be able to distinguish colors since the job involves color inspection.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate a computer and access programs, make transactions, and solve simple computer functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to successfully pass pulmonary function respiratory test.
