Payroll/HR Specialist | $24/hr or more, based on experience

Monday – Friday, 7/7:30/8am – 4/4:30/5pm – Flexible Hours!  Some OT, Weekends, and Holidays, if needed.

Come and work for a family owned and operated retail chain in Sioux City, Iowa and be a part of a company that pledges to increase growth and continue to create new positions and opportunities for ambitious employees.  As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.  You will be collaborating with the Human Resources team on seamless data integration across systems, assist with on-site new hire orientations, and be cross-train in other HR areas to fill in as needed.  Are you naturally curious, analytical, someone who understands, collaborates, and communicates well with others?  If so, we’d love you to consider this position! 

 Responsibilities:

• Managing payroll through ADP
• Respond and resolve employee payroll questions/concerns providing clear, empathetic, and prompt answers
• Prepare payroll reports and analytics
• Assist with any wage adjustments/bonuses, and overtime
• Working with confidential and sensitive information strengthening employee confidence  

 Requirements:

• 2 or more years’ payroll experience
• ADP payroll and working knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and solve concerns
• Collaborate with a team and work independently
• Strong computer skills
• Skilled communication, accountability, responsive, empathetic, and solution driven
