Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm

$20–22/hr DOE

Are you an experienced painter or finisher with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality? A local manufacturing facility is seeking a Powder Coat Painter to join their production team. This role involves preparing and coating metal parts using powder coating equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. If you're reliable, quality-driven, and ready to contribute to a growing team, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare metal parts for coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging
  • Apply powder coating using spray guns and automated systems
  • Inspect coated parts for coverage, thickness, and overall finish quality
  • Operate curing ovens and monitor time and temperature to ensure proper results
  • Perform touch-ups and rework as needed to meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in powder coating, painting, or industrial finishing (preferred)
  • Knowledge of powder coating equipment and proper application techniques
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Experience with automated powder coat systems (preferred)
  • Knowledge of color matching and finish specs (preferred)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles (preferred)
