A leading dairy company in the Sheldon, IA area is hiring a person for their Powder Packaging department! This Powder Packaging Operator is responsible for the packaging of all permeate and protein powders produced. This is a great opportunity to work with a long-term, reputable company in the area.

Responsibilities:

• Operate AvaPak Packaging System, multi-tasking between 2 different lines of powder.
• Operate and observe robot palletizing system.
• Sample permeate and protein powders.
• Document bag and tote weights.
• Make minor repairs to equipment as needed.
• Assist in other areas of the whey department as needed.

 Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• Experience with troubleshooting equipment required.
• Basic math plus fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Basic computer operational skills.

Benefits & Pay:

• $23.54/hr. + DOE
