Do you have experience in the operation of dry-mill ethanol? The Process Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the biofuel production processes in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. The operator will ensure that all equipment functions optimally, troubleshoot any operational issues, and ensure the quality and compliance of bio-fuel produced.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control various stages of production.
• Regularly monitor the performance of equipment, noting any irregularities, and reporting them to maintenance or supervision.
• Troubleshoot operational issues in equipment, systems, and processes.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for the timely repair of equipment or systems failures.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment to prevent downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the plant.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, such as waste disposal and emissions.

• Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in the bio-fuel production process.
• Implement process adjustments or improvements under the direction of the plant supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates Process Technology or equivalent preferred
• Experience in operation of a dry-mill is preferred
