Production Associate | $20 per hour + DOE

Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11:30pm & 3rd Shift 10:30pm-6:30am, possible Saturdays.  

Aventure Staffing is currently seeking to fill R positions for a well established manufacturing company in Estherville, IA!  Prior experience preferred.  Must be self-motivated, responsible and willing to work safe and smart!  Operates and tends fabricating machines such as cut-off saws, shears, rolls, breaks, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal coils, plates, sheet, tubes and structures by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments
• Sets stops or guides to specified sizes by scale, rule, or template
• Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade
• Operates controls to activate machine and observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
• Measures work piece dimensions to determine machine accuracy and that work piece meets desired specifications
• Performs minor machine maintenance such as, oiling machines, dies or work pieces
• Assists in the set-up of machines and stacks, marks or packs finished work pieces
• Attends and contributes to team EI meetings
• Responsible for 5S of machines and work area
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Production experience preferred
• Applied knowledge of controls and instrumentation
• Applied knowledge and ability to read blueprints and assemble parts according to specification
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality
• Applied knowledge of hand and power tools
