Job Title: Boiler Operator – Class 1B (Overnight Shift)
Location: Blue Earth, MN
Pay: $29+/hour DOE
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Boiler Operator to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-pressure steam and hot water boilers while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone with a Class 1B license to grow their career in a stable, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers).
Monitor boiler controls, gauges, and alarms to ensure safe operation.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Record operational data and maintain accurate logs.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
Test boiler water and adjust chemical levels to prevent corrosion or scaling.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Assist with emergency shutdowns or startups as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Valid Class 1B Boiler Operator License (state-specific).
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Minimum 2 years of boiler operation experience.
Strong knowledge of state and federal boiler regulations and safety codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
