Production Laborer | $18.00/hour + $2 Shift Differential

Monday - Friday, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available!

An established wheel manufacturer in the Algona, IA area is hiring Production Laborers to join their growing team. This position will work both independently and as a team member to assemble and produce quality product. The Production Laborer will work Monday-Friday and will potentially train on first shift, 6:30am - 2:30pm, if moving to a second or third shift schedule. The position pays $18/hr, plus a $2 shift differential when working on second or third shift. Individuals with prior production experience are encouraged to apply! 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments
• Move product through the manufacturing process
• Assemble parts
• Use of hand/power tools and reading measuring devices
• Work in various areas of the manufacturing process
• Other duties as assigned

 Requirements: 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Must be reliable and have good attendance
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively
• Ability to read precision measurement equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and assemble parts according to specifications
• Applied knowledge of hand/power tools
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas
