Production Laborer | Competitive Wages - Opportunity for substantial increases within the first 90 days!

Monday – Saturday, 2:30pm-11pm OR 3:30pm-12am

An established food production company located in Humboldt, IA  is looking for reliable team players with great attendance records and adherence to safety to fill their Production Laborer and Machine Operator positions! This position is responsible for, under supervision, the safe production and quality of food through the operation, maintenance and sanitation of food production and packaging equipment. The Production Laborers and Machine Operators will work on a 2nd shift schedule, Monday through Saturday. This is a great direct hire opportunity for individuals with prior production and/or machine operating experience! 

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and GMP’s
• Follow all SOP’s for the operation of equipment used
• Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available
• Operate and monitor equipment
• Follow daily set up / shut down procedures
• Maintain accurate production records
• Make adjustments as needed
• Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to keep production moving
• Work in all areas of production and packaging, as assigned
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Perform routine quality control
• Relieve other associates as necessary
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to identify and distinguish between colors
• Must be reliable with regular attendance
• Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidays
• Must be able to work in areas of varying temperatures
• Promote, adhere and be responsible for Food Safety and Quality
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs over shoulder height frequently
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as, bending and twisting
• Follow all written and verbal communication
