Job Overview
As a Project & Quality Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical development and operational excellence. You will lead product development from concept to customer site, ensuring every solution meets rigorous technical specifications and quality standards. This dual-focus role combines project management, optimizing costs and components with the stewardship of our ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Synthesize customer requirements into actionable project plans, directing technical designers and managing the full Bill of Materials (BOM) with a focus on cost optimization and standardization.
- Validation & Delivery: Lead 3D design presentations, oversee prototype testing (both in-house and on-site), and manage the final approval process to ensure seamless project closure.
- Quality & Compliance: Act as the primary guardian of ISO 9001/14001 standards; manage monthly quality indicators, resolve nonconformities, and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers.
- Customer Advocacy: Proactively propose product improvements and serve as the technical lead for resolving any malfunctions or warranty claims.
Requirements
- Degree: B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Experience: Industrial/manufacturing background with a focus on project engineering and claim management.
- HVAC Skills: Prior experience with HVAC systems and a desire for hands-on lab/field testing.
- Quality Standards: Proficient in ISO 9001/14001, FMEA, SPC, and PPAP.
- Software: Competency in SAP ERP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and skilled at mediating between customer needs and supplier capabilities.
