Property Maintenance
8am-5pm M-F
$18/Hr
The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that buildings, grounds, and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and functional condition. This role involves a mix of preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and customer service to ensure tenant satisfaction and property value.
Reposnsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
- Complete work orders and repairs in a timely and professional manner (e.g., fixing leaks, changing locks, repairing drywall).
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls outside of regular hours when on-call.
- Assist with turnover of units, including painting, minor renovations, and cleaning.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and management as needed for larger repairs or renovations.
- Document completed work, parts used, and time spent in maintenance.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
