Maintenance on Residential Properties | $20/hr

Monday–Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with on-call duties as needed.

A townhome complex in Fairmont, MN is looking for a maintenance person to join their team! This position works independently to perform maintenance at residential properties This is a great opportunity to work for a caring company who cares about their employees! Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform physical labor if needed to shovel snow, mowing or do light landscaping.
• Must be able to complete light repair work, or light carpentry.
• Ability to help residents move furniture or appliances.
• Install, repair and replace washers/dryers. refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.
• Must be able to repair drywall, texturing, painting, in resident's homes.
• Maintaining heating/cooling systems, changing air filters, cleaning A/C condensers.
• Conduct on-going programs of preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

• Must have no restrictions on ability to lift.
• Must be a self-starter and take initiative to get projects completed.
• Must be able to be on-call.
• Experience of 2+ years preferred in maintenance of homes.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to stoop, sit, stand, bend, lift, kneel, climb ladders, stairs etc.
• Need to be able to demonstrate the knowledge and ability to operate and maintain mechanical equipment.
