Production Workers | $21.55/hour
 
Start times can vary depending on the area you are working in for the week.  Monday - Friday
 
We are urgently hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician right here in Cherokee. Candidates must posses previous Quality Assurance experience within a food packaging facility. This is a great opportunity to get started with a growing company. Apply today as these positions will go fast!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collecting finished product and performing tasks that ensure the customer quality and specifications are met
  • Performing batching of raw materials in the Grinding areas
  • Working with operations leadership to determine raw materials to be used for batching and formulation of finished products
  • Collecting pre and post operational swabs to ensure Listeria and Environmental program requirements are completed weekly
  • Performing batching of raw materials in the Grinding areas. She/he will be trained and required to batch all finals to meet customer specifications of lean/fat percent ratios
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and write English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in cooler temperatures, around 38 degrees
  • Ability to push, pull, bend and stoop frequently
