Quality Technician 1^st Shift

$18.00/hour

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

The Production Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of products during the manufacturing process. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and collaborating with production teams to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Perform various tests (e.g., dimensional, functional, and material tests) to assess product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality issues. Prepare reports for management regarding quality trends and issues.
• Work closely with production staff to identify quality issues, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and refining quality control procedures to enhance production processes and product quality.
• Participate in investigations of non-conformance issues and assist in determining root causes and corrective actions.

Requirements:

•  High School diploma or equivalent.
•  Previous experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
