Ring Roller/Welder
M-TH 6am-4:30pm
$19+/Hour Based on Experience

The Ring Roller Welder is responsible for operating ring rolling machines and welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components into various circular or curved shapes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in welding techniques to ensure that all fabricated parts meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust ring rolling machines for specific metal sizes and shapes.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure that parts are rolled to the correct dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform welding tasks to join metal components, using MIG (Metal Inert Gas).
- Select appropriate welding equipment and materials based on the job requirements.
- Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for accurate measurements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ring rolling machines and welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, vocational training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder, with specific experience in ring rolling preferred.
- Proficiency in operating ring rolling machines and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and precision in measurement and welding.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
