Scale Operator - $20/hr. 

Mon-Fri  Full time hours: 8a-4:30p

Are you a detail-oriented and reliable employee that is able to multi-task in an busy environment.  If so, this job is for you! A well-established company in the Sheldon area is looking for a Scale Operator to join their team.. The ideal candidate would have a basic understanding of office duties, good customer service and phone skills, and would be a reliable team member.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and acknowledge every guest.
• Operate and monitor scale system, ensuring accurate weighing of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assist truck drivers with the weighing process, providing clear instructions and exceptional customer service.
• Record and report scale data, including weights and vehicle details, into the company’s database.
• Perform general office tasks including data entry, invoicing, filing, and handling correspondence.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Basic office skills required to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as multi-line phone operations.
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills, telephone etiquette and customer service
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
