Service Technician  l  $19-$22/hr. DOE

M-F 8-5p

An established scale manufacturer in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Service Technician to join their growing team! This Service Technician will work on a team and independently to perform technical services and repairs. Enjoy working in an excellent environment with room for advancement!

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of customer's equipment.
• Consult with customers on all procedures.
• Document service calls on service reports.

Job Requirements:

• Must read product manuals.
• Must write detailed service reports. 
• Must communicate with customers, co-workers, and manufacturers. 
• Must have and maintain a good MVR.
• Must have CDL and medical card if driving test truck.
• Must maintain service vehicles in proper condition. 
• Must maintain service tools in proper condition. 
• Must keep proper parts inventory in service vehicles. 
• Some local travel.
• Must be able to use all units of measure.
• Must be trained and certified in Handbook 44. 
• Must work in a safe manner obeying all OSHA safety regulations. 
• Must be available for after hour and holiday service calls. 

Physical Demands:

• Must observe equipment in operation.
• Must distinguish color of wires in panels. 
• Must hear audible safety warning signals. 
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. 
• Must be able to perform in all outside weather conditions. 

Benefits & Pay:

• $19-$22/hr.  DOE
