Shag Driver- $19.50-$22/hr 

1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm  Monday-Thursday and OT is available on Fridays.

Responsibilities: 

• Move trailers in and out of the building, around the staging and parking areas and to the security station, observing all safety regulations.
• Performs inspection and miscellaneous service duties such as checking the oil, water, gasoline, and tire pressure on a daily basis.
• Reports any maintenance malfunctions.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. 
• Observes all safety and security procedures. 
• Performs other routine duties as necessary

Requirements:

• Drive safely and effectively on all staging area road and parking surfaces. 
• Able to operate effectively in reverse backing a trailer into the bay area (inside building) and into stage area parking.
• Read trailer numbers and other documentation. 
• Perform and remember how to perform multiple tasks from day to day.
• Able to perform the physical requirements listed in that section of this job description.
• Look for potential cost savings in the work process, help keep scrap and waste to a minimum and be efficient in use of all supplies.
• Time standard is dependent on the process being performed, customer specification, volume and location.
• Perform the assigned tasks in a manner in which they meet or exceed the required production level.
• The quantity of units moved will vary with the process being performed, customer specification, volume and location.
