Shear/Brake Operator | $18+/hr - DOE

Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

An established manufacturing company located in the Humboldt, IA area is hiring an Shear/Brake Press Operator to join their team! The Shear/Brake Operator will be responsible for forming a wide variety of metal component parts. This position will work on first shift, 7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday and pays $18+/hr, depending on experience. This is a great temp to hire opportunity! Come work for a leader in the design and manufacture of material handling systems and components in the Humboldt area!

Responsibilities:

• Set up machine per order specifications
• Load machine with metal needed
• Operate shear and brake press 
• Keep a clean workspace 
• Adhere to all safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Knowledge of press operations is a must
• Excellent math skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Demonstrated good attendance record
• Attention to detail
