Shop Laborer
Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, construct, and prepare various parts and components, such as agricultural pumps, mixers, or separators.
- Handle the transportation of materials, tools, and completed products within the shop premises and provide support in shipping and receiving tasks.
- Operate shop machinery, hand tools, and power tools while under supervision.
- Assist proficient technicians and welders as necessary during production processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the shop, equipment, and workspaces to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications for Shop Laborer Position:
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects (potentially up to 50 lbs.) and standing for prolonged periods.
- Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing common hand and power tools is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to execute tasks with precision and perform basic quality assessments.
- Team Player: Demonstrate experience collaborating effectively within a team and following instructions from supervisors.
- Keen Learner: Display adaptability and a positive approach towards acquiring new skills and responsibilities.
- Experience (Preferred): Previous involvement in a manufacturing or similar shop setting is beneficial, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $22/hour
- Paid every Friday
