Staff Accountant

Pay Dependent on Experience

Full Time / Monday – Friday

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for an exciting new job opportunity? If so, this position is for you!! A market leader for innovative and cost-effective aerospace composite structures is looking for a Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in preparing, coordinating, and documenting financial analysis projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross functionally to ensure ad-hoc business needs are met.
• Review and prepare financial statements, disclosures, reconciliations and reports, prepare and post journal entries, ensure timely and accurate reporting, compliance with GAAP.
• Cost accounting for manufacturing, forecasting and budget.
• Backup support and assist A/R and A/P specialist(s).
• Review of accounting processes and recommending changes as needed. 
• Perform back-up for key activities of Site Controller. 

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as an accountant, auditor, or business analyst, or a CPA certificate with 3 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of software applications, IT, or ERP systems with a strong understanding of ERP functions.
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in MS Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, and filters).
